Have Some Tea With Cousin T
To help Lipton promote some of its new flavors for the Southern market, we enlisted Grammy Award-winner and reluctant father of the Hip-Hop Auto-Tune era, T-Pain, to play the role of Cousin T in a ’90s-inspired web series complete with laugh tracks and recorded applause. In a year that saw families separated because of the pandemic, we wanted to create something that promoted togetherness, and what better way than doing a spoof of the wholesome '90s-era sitcoms? Each of the featured flavors represents one of Cousin T’s “personaliteas”: Georgia Peach Tea for the turn-up, Southern Sweet Tea for his kind and helpful side, and Green Tea for when he needs to Zen the F out.
